Mértola’s Association of Defense of the Patrimony (ADPM) aims to contribute to the economic, social and cultural development of the municipality of Mértola, based on the conservation, dynamization and recovery of local resources, involving local people and public and private entities improving the conditions and quality of communities’ life.
Projects developed individually or in partnership, in Portugal and elsewhere, constitute the ADPM a transnational dimension, wich enriches local experience. In a “Global Thinking – Local Action” logic, we understand multiculturalism and diversity as bases for the development of towns.
