The University of Córdoba (UCO) is one of the principal Spanish investigation centers with international reputation in areas as Agriculture, Food, Health Sciences and Humanities. Currently, UCO leads the CeiA3 Campus of International Agri-Food Excellence; a consortium which UCO joins the Universities of Almería, Cádiz, Huelva and Jaén, together with the Higher Council for Scientific Research (CSIC) and the Andalusian Institute of Investigation and Agrarian Formation, Fisheries, Food and Organic Production (IFAPA).

In addition of its activity in I+D+i, UCO has a considerable experience in gestion and implementation of international projects. Currently, UCO since 2014 has been granted with 26 projects funded through H2020 and 18 projects funded by other European programs (8 projects of). 

UCO has a Research Results Transfer Office (OTRI) and an International I+D+i Projects Office (OPI) facilitating the management, implementation and dissemination of transnational projects.

UCO leads the Life LiveAdapt Project which Professor Vicente Rodríguez Estévez, from the Department of Animal Production of the Faculty of Veterinary, is the coordinator.
